These terms govern your use of the Gita Shlok Path Android application ("the app"), published by Sanatan Labs ("we", "us"), India. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal and devotional use.
The ₹49 unlock is a licence to access additional content within the app. It is not a sale of the content itself.
The verse audio in the app is encrypted, in two layers, for exactly these reasons.
The Sanskrit text of the Bhagavad Gita is an ancient scripture in the public domain. The translations, word-by-word explanations, audio recitations, artwork and software in this app are our own work and remain our property.
We have made every effort to keep the text and meanings accurate. Scripture is nonetheless interpreted differently across traditions and commentators, and errors are possible despite our care. If you find a mistake, please tell us — we will correct it. Nothing in the app should be treated as a substitute for study with a qualified teacher.
Pricing is set out on the Pricing page and refunds on the Refund Policy page, both of which form part of these terms.
Payments are processed by Google Play Billing or by Razorpay, depending on where you installed the app. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or banking details.
We may update the app to add features, fix problems or improve content. We may change pricing for new purchases, but an unlock you have already paid for will not be revoked or charged for again.
We try to keep the app working on current Android versions but cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, Android version or manufacturer customisation.
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you actually paid us — that is, ₹49 or less. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data the app does and does not handle, and forms part of these terms.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if the app is used in breach of these terms, in particular any attempt to defeat content protection or redistribute the content.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If we change these terms we will update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
